PARTNERING WITH TEACHERS

Our goal is to provide a network of support to teachers in rural and remote Saskatchewan who incorporate Experiential Learning and Inquiry Based Science Education into their classrooms. We are doing this by creating and funding resource kits that allow teachers to perform STEM-based activities like science experiments, demonstrations, research projects, and more right in their classroom. In an effort to make our resource kits easy to incorporate into pre-existing lesson plans, our kits include connections to outcomes and indicators from Saskatchewan science curriculae. We strive to create tools that teachers can utilize in whatever way best suits their current lesson structures - rather than asking teachers to accommodate the addition of a new teaching tools, we strive to create resources that are multi-purposed, simple to use, can be used in a relatively short time frame, and can be further expanded into optional or additional activities.
